Application

BIOGLYCO A enhances cooling uniformity, preventing film boiling on treated parts.

It is specifically formulated for the heat treatment of medium to low alloyed ferrous materials.

By forming a thin and uniform protective film on the treated surface, it helps reduce the thermal gradient between the surface and the core, particularly in the martensitic transformation range. This minimizes residual stresses, significantly lowering the risks of cracking and deformation.

Additionally, BIOGLYCO A is biocide-free yet prevents bacterial and fungal growth in the quench tank, ensuring a clean and hygienic working environment.

It is also formulated to prevent rust-colored staining in the tank, thanks to specific corrosion inhibitors that protect both the equipment and treated materials.

The product is stable up to 85°C, making it suitable for processes requiring higher operating temperatures.
