Polymeric solution based on polymers of natural origin for solubilization of aluminum and titanium even at high temperatures.

Description

BIOGLYCO ILL is a water-based solution derived from plant-based polymers, specifically designed for preparing solutions for the solubilization of non-ferrous alloys.

It is formulated with special additives that prevent staining and enhance the elasticity of treated components.

Application

BIOGLYCO ILL improves cooling uniformity, preventing film boiling on treated parts.

It is specially formulated for non-ferrous alloy treatments, including Aluminum, Titanium, Nickel-based alloys, Maraging steels, and Precipitation-Hardening (PH) steels.

The thin and uniform protective film formed on the surface eliminates localized overheating, ensuring consistent cooling.

For suitable alloys, it enhances the solubilization of coherent phases, minimizing the formation of undesired precipitates, and leading to better mechanical properties and reduced deformation.

If aging (precipitation hardening) is required, improved solubilization allows for more coherent and finely dispersed intermetallic precipitates, further optimizing the final properties of the treated components.

Despite being biocide-free, BIOGLYCO ILL effectively prevents bacterial and fungal growth in the quench tank, ensuring clean and hygienic working conditions.

Additionally, it is designed to prevent rust-colored staining in the tank, thanks to specific corrosion inhibitors that protect both the equipment and treated materials.
