Description

POLYQUENCH ILL is a water-based PAG solution designed for preparing solutions for the solubilization of non-ferrous alloys.

It is formulated with special additives that prevent staining and enhance the elasticity of treated components.

Application

POLYQUENCH ILL improves cooling uniformity, preventing film boiling on treated parts.

It is specifically formulated for the treatment of non-ferrous alloys, including Aluminum, Titanium, Nickel-based alloys, Maraging steels, and Precipitation-Hardening (PH) steels.

The thin, uniform protective film formed on the surface helps to prevent localized overheating, ensuring a consistent cooling rate.

For suitable alloys, this process promotes phase solubilization, minimizes the formation of unwanted precipitates, and enhances mechanical properties while reducing distortion.

If aging (precipitation hardening) is required, improved solubilization allows for the formation of more coherent and evenly dispersed intermetallic precipitates, further optimizing the final properties of the treated components.

Additionally, POLYQUENCH ILL is biocide-free, yet its formulation prevents bacterial and fungal growth in the tank, improving workplace hygiene.

It is also designed to prevent rust-colored staining in the tank, thanks to specific corrosion inhibitors that protect both the equipment and treated materials.
